Strang and Gordon) claimed f2OOO damages from Ellis and Bnrnand, Ltd. (Mr. MacDiarmid), in connection with fires alleged to have been caused by sparks from the defendant's bush engine, on plaintiff's property, near Ongarue, concluded in the Supreme Court, before Mr. Justice Herdman, to-day. The jury found that defendants were liable for £150 damages. Judgment was entered accordingly.
