In connection with the Biehop Liston episode the Taihape Borough Council, at. last night's meeting, passed the folloAving resolution, nrm. eon.:—"That this council heartily congratulates Mr. Gunson. Mayor of the City of Auckland, for his protest against the disloyalty expressed at a public meeting in that city, and that the town clerk bo instructed to convey to Mr. Ounson the council's np-p.-oAal - of his action."
