This appeal is to be held in the month of May everY year. Fifth.—The objects of the League ot the Red Crocs are recognised in 1 he Covenant of the League of Nations, which reads as follows:—"The members of the Ijeagne ajrree to encourage and promole the establishment and cooperation of duly authorised voluntary national Red Crces organisations, having as purposes the improvement of health, the prevention of disease, and the mitiirat' on of e-irlferinfr throughout the world." : Sixth.—The o* the Red Cross in each country is not to interfere or take over existing Societies already working for the benefit of mankind, but to offer to help them A-ith finance and • organisation. The League is to try and obtain better living conditions for workers on land and sea: to look after ehjld welfare; help with district nurses. In fact, they are to take ;up any object i that they think will be a benefit to humanity in all countries of the world.
