UNIFICATION OF CONTROL. UNIFORM RATES. (Kc.-etreil U.IIO u.ru.l L'ARIS, .May IS. A bill has been introduced into the Chnnibcr of Deputies by the Government to provide for the unfiiciitiun of the whole o f the French railway lines. A superdirectorate, consisting of representatives of tlic Government, the owners, and the workers, is proposed, while the surplus would be combined to pay a common dividend, and a sinking fund would make ~p common lushes. It is proposed to make freight and passenger rates uniform ! on the basis of the proiit and of all the lines.—(A. and N.Z. ("able.)
