INFLUENZA.
A SLIGHT DECREASE. The Auckland district health report from noon on Saturday to a corresponding hour to-day shows a slight decrease in the number of influenza cases. The notifications for the period total 209, of. which 20 are severe. The cases are:— City, 22 mild: suburbs, 48 mild, 4 severe; Auckland Hospital country districts, 5 mild. 7 severe. Other country districts, notifications of which 11 are severe, are distributed as follows:— Thames county, 1 severe: Waihi, 3 mild; Hamilton. 17 mild: Whakatane, 2 mild: Opotiki, 13 mild; Te Aroha, 2 mild, 1 severe; Tauranga, 1 mild; Thames, IT mild: and Te Puke and districts, 7 severe, 5!) mild.
