AN APPEAL.

Owing to the cost of food I during the past three year?, it has been J well nigh impossible for the parents of i a large family to T>ureliace beds and bedj ding-. As the family increases it i* I nui;i difficult for them to replace the ! wear and tear, or purchase t-he addii tional beds required. At nreeent there i are too many cnildren of both sexes I crowded into one bed. In many ca£M L' the mattres-ses and bedding are in a leplorable condition. Owing to the increase in firing and room rent our a::ed folk are suffering most keenly, whilst all are in need of warm clothing. Fortunately during the summer months ■wo have a quantity of warm clothing j sent in: this '.ye pack away in cases I j ready for distribution at the beginning lof winter: our stock is now completely exhausted, and we ar e depending on the i olothins sont in from day to day. We beg of those who have clothing to spare, Ito please send it to us without delay. We shall be jrrateful for funds to por- | chase bedding, firing and food. We
