AUCKLAND MEN'S DECISION.
WIIX STAND TOGETHER. FOR JOINT SETTLEMENT.* The mass meeting of railwayman, some 1(X)O attending, held in the Trades Hall yesterday afternoon, •eaffirmed. their decision "'that no settlement be agreed to by any organisation unless satisfactory 'to both organisations concerned." Prior to this decision being arrived at a telegram was read from the preeident und eei-rrtary of the A.SJR-S. in Wellington, stating "that the etrike of the society had been aeMJcd, and thait mom'bers were to report for work, immediately. In accordance with the spirit of the decision members of the society did not return to work. Aβ for the E.F.C.A. conference with -the Prime Minister no communication- was received in Auckland up to 5.30 last evening. It wae anticipated, however, that some information would be obtainable for the meeting to be heid at 10 this morning.
