(By Telegraph.—Oirn Correspondent.) HAWE.RA, this flay. Beautiful weather and a ligtot southerly breeze prevailed for the opening of the Egmont Meeting. There wan a large attendance, and the course was in splendid order. Results were: — Ohaewe Hurdles; one nnd three-quarter miles. —Master Moutoa, 11.3, 1; Ngakanut, ' !).8. 2; Movement, 11.1, 3. Also ran: Zola, Explorer, and Endure. Won by two lengths four lengths between second and third. Time, 3.18. Flying Handicap; six furlongs.—*asanotf, 9.7, 1; Inah, 8.3, 2; Wnimaton. 9.4, & Scratched: Trespass. 'Hymestra, and Slmonines. Won by half-a-lenstu, a length ibetvreen second and third. Time. 1.14 3-5. .Meremere Handicap, five furlongs.— Marble Bar. 7.4. 1; Flying Master, 8.6. 2; Faroringi, 8.11, 3. •Scratched: Santorini, Egmont Park, ■Passln , " Through. IPrinoess Ora. Rangat'apn. Stelpaul. Won toy bnif a lensth, a length between second and third. Time. 3.2 3-5.
