CONFLICTING REPORTS. BOLSHEVIKS CLAIM ROUT. MAY RETIRE TURTHER. ffij Cabl;.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 2.50 p.m.) LONDON, November 6. A Bolshevik communique states that Oeneral Yudenitch is retiring hastily on his entire front. We have occupied Gati'hina, 16 miles south-east of Petrograd. and the pursuit continues. We also captured Luga, 12 miles to the ■westward. General Yudenitch's army is dissolving, and we closely surround the remnants. We have driven the enemy back 70 miles beyond Yoronesh, on the Don, in Southern Russia. Helsingfors reports state that despite the Bolshevik claims, General Yudenitch's retreat was well prepared and skilfully executed. He now stands in well fortified positions on the Narva railway. SO miles west of Petrograd. It is uncertain whether he contemplates a further retirement. He may do so in order to prepare a further offensive, hoping for the co-operation of Finland.— (A. and X.Z.
