OITICEBS. 1 RE WAR BONUS .ttore evidence of the united feeling oj disgust that permeates the Post and Telegraph {Department at Parliametlfc not having fulfilled its obligation* ia respect to a promised wai bonus *** forthcoming at a special meeting of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Aseociation held last evening. The meeting had 'been called to consider ordinary business, and the more important question of the outstanding ■bonus, which, no doubt was the incen-. tive that attracted no less than 100 members. , Feeling ran high, but members realised that apart from passing another drastic resolution they could do nothing, Meause it was essential that they should wait and see what would accrue from Parliament's decision to refer the matter to » judge of the Supreme Court for consideration. They did, however, decwto to urge the executive in Wellington t>) telegram to have the association represented at the tribunal. . An important official of the loeu branch stated this morning that m tae event of nothing satisfactory coming to pass from the tribunal that members « the Department would ask ior an immediate re-classiScation. The resolution passed reads as lotlows: "That this meeting has no conHdence in any Government, which purporting to represent the democracy del«gates its power to a judge or any otaer person to make a decision on any pwni •which should be made by the legal* tors of the country."
