A very pleasant function eventuated at the residence of Mr. iE. A. -Craig last night, when the staff of J. J. Craig, Ltd., met at his residence to tender him a farewell on ithe occasion of his retirement from the frm. iMr. Craig was the recipient of a travelling case, a 'photographic shield, and a walking stick, the latter a gift from two old skippers of the company's vessels. In making the presentation, Mr. Parker spoke of the bond of friendship that existed between Mr. Craig and the donors, and paid * tribute to the success that had attended the firm during his association.
