STATE ADVANCES.
AXD ELECTRIC INSTALLATIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON", this day. The Te Awamutu Power Board Committee, when seeking provision for a loan for reticulation, iwas advised that existing legislation does not allow loans by the State Advances Office for electric installations, as these are not included in the schedule of public works for State loans. In view of a widespread movement for electric development the Board decided to make urgent representations to the Government for the necessary legislative amendment.
