DROUGHT IN ALBERTA.

HALF MILLION CATTLE STARVING. "(Received 0.45 a.m.) WJXXIPEG, July 17". The Canadian Council of Agriculture has received reports indicating that half a million cattle in Southern Alberta are on the verge of starvation, due to continued drought, which destroyed all the pasturage. It is proposed to transport the cattle to Northern Alberta or to Northern Manitoba, where feed is plentiful, due to adequate rains.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
