RETURNED SOLDIERS' PARADE ; ~ ' ' J lie order in which the returned soldiers will parade to-morrow hsd not 1 been definitely settled this afternoon, but it will be drawn up and published •to-morrow morning. It is understood (that .the men will .parade according to j their lighting units. ELLERSLIE SCHOOL CHILDREN. It has been arranged that the children of the Ellerslie School (the whole school from primers to Standard C) will he entertained at the Green Lane Theatre on Monday afternoon. The pictures will begin at 1.30 p.m., and lollies and cakes will "be distributed at the interval. Appropriate addresses will be delivered. OPOTIKI. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) OPOTIKiI, this day. Arrangements for the peace celebrations here are approaching completion. Arches of nikiiu palms and evergreens 1 arc erected at the main entrances to the town. The procession at eleven o'clock to-morrow will be headed by the Band, : retuiiiied soldiers, and other units. The tribute to the dead will be paid at noon, and will be followed by a luncheon to children, soldiers, and their families, children's sports in the afternoon, a bonfire .and fireworks at night. On .Monday a comic football match will be played between soldiers and civilians, and a military ball will be held in the evening.
