FARMERS' FREEZING WORKS.

WANTED AT WHANGAREL (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. A meeting of the Whangarei sub-pro-Tincial executive of the Farmers' Union, to-day, passed unanimously the following resolution (1) That, in the opinion of the executive, the establishment of -Farmers' Freezing "Works at Whangarei Earbour is urgently desired; (2) that various branches be asked to give their support; (3) that delegates form a provisional committee to convass their own districts and ascertain the probable amount of monetary support that will be forthcoming, and any other data relative to the establishment of such ■works, and report to the next meeting.
