I William Henry Yagg was charged with | j making a false statement on an applica- ' ;tion for a permit to leave New Zealand, j [Detective Cassells stated that Yagg ' j applied for penniesion to visit England, istating that his mother-in-law would '. ilook after his children in his absence This was found to be incorrect. Defendant stated that he understood his I mother-in-law would look after the children as he stated. He had no intention of evading his responsibilities. He »j fined and costs.
