ALLEGED FRAUD.
"THE FARMERS BOOK-KEEPER." (By Telegrapli.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Francis E. Home, arrested at Urewcra, charged with false pretences, was to-day remanded till Tuesday next. Home, it is alleged, canvassed farmers in Walton district with a book, "The Farmer's Book-keeper," representing to settlors that he was an agent of the Income Tax Department's representative, and thereby induced them to buy.
