BATTLESHIP TRANSPORTS.
LONDON. March 23. The United States arc using battleships and cruisers to transport troops. They make the round trip from Brest to New York in 40 days. The battleships carry 1,200 troops and the cruisers 1,500 The Admiralty is willing to employ warships for repatriating overseas troops if crews arc available. It is pointed out that American warships repatriating Americans are in ".nod order because they did not participate actively in the war.—(A. and Cable. )
