The Minister for Lands having returned from a lengthy tour of the central part of the Xorth Island is preparing a report to CaWnet on the light land* in that area. Criticism has been levelled at any proposal to settle returned soldiers on pumice lands. There are limitations in that direction. Capital and special knowledge are required, but the Minister evidently fails to share the pessimistic views, as he declares that there is a great future before those land?.
