BOARD OF TRADE.
TIMBER REGULATIONS. k The Board of Trade, among other matters, is still engaged in committee on the scheme for the standardisation of footwear. This afternoon a deputation representing local builders waited on the Board with regard to the regulations controlling the timber industry, and discussed the matter at some length. The Bonrd will probably leave for Wellington on Monday evening next.
