Now Zealand Crown Mines.—The manager reports that during the month of February the crosscut from the Talisman No. 1 level eastward into the Crown Company property was extended 41 feet, making its total length 45;! feet. At the 45J foot mark a lode formation from one to two feet in thickness was intersected, the quartz in which assayed £2 10/ per ton. The country rock continues to be of promising quality, and the drive is being continued in the hope of intersecting a payable body of ore.
