JAPAN'S EXPORT FOREIGN TRADE.
GROWTH DURING THE WAR. WASHINGTON, March 17. The United States Tariff Commission lias issued a report dealing with Japan's foreign trade, which increased from £134.000.000 in 1913 to £203,800,000 in 1!)17. Exports, which amounted to £(13,200,000 in 1013, amounted to £100,200,000 in 1917. Imports increased from £7vJ,500,000 in l'.U3 to £103,400,000 in 1017. The grentest Rain was in exports to China. Exports to British India amounted to £2.800.000 in 1913, and to £10,000,000 in 1917. Exports to Australia amounted to £800,000 in 1913 and to £2,500,000 in 1917.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
