SOLDIER CRICKETERS.

LONDON, August 6. At the Oval to-day a return match was played between soldiers representing Britain and the Dominions overseas. The weather was showery, and this delayed the opening of the match. The overseas team, batting first, scored 194 for nine wickets, and then declared their innings closed. England replied with 166 for eight wickets before the time limit expired, the match being thus drawn. A total of 12,000 attended.(A. and N.Z.)
