" I Heather) presiding. The Board decided, in answer to tfte I request of the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, to make a rebate of £1,000 on ' the storage charges, amounting to £5,096 12/., agadnst the Australian cargo of the I steamer Port ■Hacking while the vessel was | under repairs la Calliope Dock, a periad of ! ten weeks. On the recommendation of the Board in l committee it was resolved to reserve an area of about fifty acres at St. Mary's Bay, Ito the westward of the patent slip, and called In the Engineer's plan "Area C," as i a boat harbour. The chairman explained I that this reservation did not commit the I Board to the construction of a boat har- | hour, wihich is estimated to cost £15,000, ac- ■ cording to the plan, but merely set the i area in question aside for the purpose.
