DISPUTED BEQUEST.
% (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. Judgment was given to-day by Mr. Justice Herdman in the dispute over the will o_ the late Mrs. Annie Quale Towne_d, w_o -bequeathed £500 to the "trustees, committee, or other persons in. c0n.1.1 Ot MO nUHUkgWIW. VI Ws B.SiSty for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in the Parish of Malew, Isle of Man." There was a society in control of the isle, including the Parish of Malew, where a new society was subsequently formed. The judge Baid it was clear that Mrs. Townend intended the bequest for the benefit of the society of the Parish of Malew only, and gave judgment for that society.
