AQUATICS.

In the summer of 1913, Tom Sullivan, having entered into a three-year agreement with the directors of the Berliner Rowing Club to train their boat fcr the Olympic Games that were to have taken place in 1916, went to Berlin with bls family. At the outbreak of the war ha was interned together with his eldes. son. Mrs. Sullivan and his two younger children were permitted to return to England. Tom Sullivan is now, and ha_ been for two years, in the Ruhleben enclosure. The Berliner Rowing Club contains several influential members, who despite their promises and professions of sympathy, have done nothing for him, and his arrears of salary will not be paid to him. His passport has recently been returned to him, which means that he will be sent to England with the next batch of exchanged prisoners. He is one of SO men who will comprise the next batch, and they are expected so soon as transport across the North Sea, oaq 'be found for them.
