At the meeting of the League of Nations Society Lord Buckniaster (formerly Lord Chancellor) trusted that before the war ended it would have 'brought down the whole of tho Powers responsible for this great wrong. Voicing his own opinion, he said that the scheme) of a League of Nations would fail unless Germany was admitted.
