USING THE CLERGY.

IN PEACE PROPAGANDA. .(Received 9.30 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, May 20. The ''Deutsche Kirehen Zeitung" states that Catholic clergy in Germany have inaugurated a powerfully organised peace movement. It adds that after dispatching Socialists to Stockholm the German Government now presses Catholics ir»to its service by inducing them to make hypocritical peace efforts. It also says that the clergy intend to create a world wide union of eucharists. Catholic archbishops in other countries have promised warm support.— (A. and N.Z. tabic.)
