FATAL ACCIDENTS.
DEATH FROM INJURIES. A married man named Martin McGl-th —who had been sent to the public hospital on February 25th, suffering frop injuries caused by a fall at hi_ homo in Bath Street, Parnell, when he was seized* with a fit—died at the institution on Sunday evening. An inquest will be held this afternoon, before Mr. F. V. Eraser. S.M. BOY DROWNED. (By Telegraph.—Prsss Association.) CTmiSTCTrijRCH, this day. A boy named Esmond Anderson was accidentally drowned in an artesian well at Richmond. ENGINEER KILLED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Sunday. Patrick Nolan, an engine-driver, employed at Messrs. Kealing and Pekin* ftaxmill, near Mercer, was found unconscious beside his engine on Thursday. He was brought to the Waikato Hospital, where he died on Saturday, without regaining consciousness. An inquest was opened to-day, before Mr. Rawßon, coroner. Medical evidence showed that death was due to a fracture of tht skull. Mr. Pekin. who found the deceased unconscious, said he surmised that Nolan had been on top of the en gine. oiling up. and had fallen, striking a beam alongside. The inquest wa- adjourned until Tuesday. The deica.-e ! was a single man, 36 years of age. MOTOR CYCLIST KILLED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) MASTERTO-', Sunday. A young man named McCarthy killed' last night through his motor-cycle colliding with a horse vehicle, McCarthy t being thrown on to his head.
