PALESTINE CAMPAIGN.
A SIGNIFICANT SIXPENCE. (Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, May 20. Much comment has been aroused by the official silence concerning the Palestine campaign. The "Pali Mall Gazette"' says that the sequel suggests that the Gaza battle was much lesw favourable than the official reports indicate. The impression prevails that the objective was not attained, and the casualties were high.— (Gnited Service.)
