REV. G. W. J. SPENCE. A well known Methodist minister, Rev. George William Spence. died at his residence. "Hillcrest." No. 22. Grange Road. Mount Eden, yesterday. He came to New Zealand in ISBO, and was ' ordained here. His first circuit was the Northern Wairoa. Durum his thirty-six venrs' connection with the Nc-.v Zealand Methodist Church .Air Spence has be"en stationed in many pails of thf Dominion, including Devonport, Auckland Knst. aud T-iamea at this end.
