MASTER PLUMBERS.
CONFERENCE ENDS. The annual conference of the Xew Zealand Federation of Master Plumbers was concluded on Friday. It was decided to hold the 1919 conference in Invercargill. The executive will be located in Auckland for the coming year. The 191S conference will be held in Wanganui. A resolution was carried that the executive select eubjects on matters concerning sanitary plumbing and arrange for papers thereon to be read at meetings of affiliated unions. Conference decided to present a medallion to the first president (Mr. A. Burt, jun., of Auckland). It was also decided that Mr. William Judd, the retiring president, be given a medallion. It was resolved that any decisions by the Court, or legal opinions referring to cases wherein master plumbers are engaged, full particulars be sent to the federation executive for record, and for circulation amongst affiliated unions. The election of officers for 1917 resulted:—President, Mr. W. S. Fieher, Auckland; vice-president, Mr. Thomas Horning, Auckland; treasurer, Mr. It. Tudehope, Auckland; secretary. Mr. T. H. Hanson, Auckland; executive, Messrs F. Hoffman, Robert Allen and Joseph Spinley, all of Auckland; district vicepreeidente. Messrs. W. Judd (Wellington), A. Peterson (Invercargill), C. S. Jenkins (Dunedin), J ; D. Colville (Christchurch), David Gellatly (Taranaki), H. Keeeing (Auckland)" D. Rait (Poverty Bay), and F. C. Griffiths (Hawke's Bay); Parliamentary Bills Committee, Messrs. T. Ballinger \. E Welfe, W. Judd, S. L. Ruesell, rl/lianson, and R. Ramsay, all of Wellingtonrepresentative on New Zealand Employers' Federation, Mr. W. Judd, Wellington. 6
