OBITUARY

THE LATE MRS. KNQWLES KEMPTON. " The. funeral of Mrs. Knowles Kempton (wife, of the minister of Baptist Tabernacle) took place yesterday afternoon. There was a "large congregation' at the service at the Baptist Tabernacle, comprising members of the Baptist churches, representatives from the Ministers , Association, V.M.C.A., Manurewa Children's Home, Central Mission, and other Christian denominations. Beautiful wreaths were received from the church and 'its various organisations, N.Z. Baptist Union, and other bodies, and from many' church - members and personal friends, j Sftl&Sey- Alfred North conducted the ser- j vices at the Tabernacle and at the grave-1 side at Waikaraka, and was assisted by ' Revs." Howard Elliott, W.
