PRISONER AT KUT.
AN AUCKLAND OFFICER. It would seem from a letter dated October, 1915, which was addressed to Lieut. E. O. Mousley, at the R.F.A. Mess, Scinde, India, and returned to the writer, an Auckland resident, that the officer mentioned was with the torce which surrendered under Major-General Townshend at -Kut-el-Amara, Mesopotamia. Tha returned communication is marked "Undelivered through capitulation at Kut," and there is another comment, "Prisoner of war." Lieut. Mousley, LL3., was a member of the staff of King's College
