BARQUE STRIKES HEAVY WEATHER.
SYDNEY, August 28. The barqnentine Lindstol, 360 tons which has arrived here from Wanganui after a passage of 27 days, encountered a gale which lasted. 30 hours. The gale smashed one of the boats, and earned away the deck cargo of 25,000 ft of timber. It also strained the bulwarks and damaged the sails.
