FIERCE FIGHTING ON RUSSIAN FRONT.
AUSTRIANS TAKE OFFENSIVE SOUTH OF PRIPET. REPULSED WITH HEAVY LOSSES. (Received 2.30 p.m.) PETROGRAD, July 3. A communique reports that a fierce battle continues between the Styr and the Stochod Rivers, to the south of the Pripct marshes. The Austrian's here took the offensive at Zubilno, in Volhynia, and advanced with great forces, but were repulsed with heavy losess.
