In reply to inquiries as to whether ; British residents abroad, but ordinarily > living in Great Britain, should return to enlist, the British Army Council has informed Mr G. F. Pearee (Acting-Prime Minister) that it is not yet intended that the Military Service Act should be enforced in respect of tTies.-; subjects.
