ST. GEORGE'S ROWirXG CLUB. The annual meeting of the members of St. George's Rowing Club took place last evening nt the residence of (lie captain (Mr A. n. Itoseoe). Tewsl~y presided, and amongst those present w«* Archdeacon Mac Murray i)nd Messrs ,T. S iSoott and C. E. Palmer. In opening the business, the chairman referred to the Kuecenstul work done T>y the clnb during the past year, and made special reference to n 'handsome polished rlrmi honours' board that had been presented to the club by the president, which already contains tbc nnmes of about sl-tty members who have gone to the front. It -was al«o mentioned that the names of another twenty who have en'lsted have yet to !>e' added shortly.. Archdeacon MiicMnrrav. in an Impressive speech, touched upon' the war, aiid congratulated the cluh on having font so many of its nicinhors tn help the Empire in its need. At Ihe close of the ceremonies Mrs Rnscoe kindly provided Bupper.
