The training laid down is for an eight days' course in the ordinary way, but provision is always made for Territorials who are short of the required number of drills in the training year, to make up their ehoa-tage in a compulsory "extra" period of four days in camp, immediately prior to the regular camp, activities at Otahuhoi really camnreneed, therefore, on Thursday last. The camp site is on the property of Messrs F. Andrew and T. R. W. Gill. The Jnfantry ißegiment is undex the eonrmand of Lieutenant-Colonel A. Bartlett. with Major R. G. Cox second in command. Lieutenant-Colonel Traev •Inglis, N.Z.M.C., is the medical officer in camp, and Lieutenant-Colonel \V. U. Wilson is the chaplain. Captain Lindsay and Captain McKenzie. of the •Medk?a.l Corps, are in camp with the Ambulance Company.
