PETRtHiRAD, March 22. It is officially announced that westward from the Xiemen River, eastward of the East Prussian frontier, the Russian advance continues successfully.

A considerable success was obtained in the Svidnic and Smolnic district, in the Carpathians, where the Russians secured the enemy's principal dispositions, and took 2,400 prisoners, 46 officers, and seven guns. The enemy's attacks in the direction of the I'szok Pass were repulsed.
