a CREDITORS' MEETING. Tb> creditors 5n the bankrupt estate of Gilbert Gilmour, formerly a grocer at Frankton, later a tobacconist and owner of a shooting gallery at Hamilton, and now a. railway employee, met yesterday afternoon, Mr. W. S. Fisher, Official Assignee, presiding. Bankrupt, in the course of examination, stated that when he sold out his ,business in April, 1913,' he thought that! with the money he obtained for it. ! together with what a motor cycle, some sections at Claudelands, and about £350 worth of book debts 'would realise, he would, be able to discharge his debts in full: He paid in AprU, 1913, approximately 10/ in the £ off his debts, and since then the bulk of his creditors of 1913 had been paid up to about 17/6 in the £. His present unsecured debts were £142 1/2, and his assets £20. \ , He was not in a position at present to make any offer to his creditors, but he would pay them as soon as he was able to do so. The creditors passed the following resolution: "That the creditors are satisfied that the bankruptcy has been brought about by misfortune, and request the Official Assignee to' do everything to facilitate_his discharge."
