These did not include large numbers killed at Ncuvc Chapelle itself. A patrol found a dummy figure in front of a German trench, which exploded on removal, injuring one man. A German officer who was taken prisoner stated that three princes, including Prince Leopold of Hohenzollcrn, -were serving at Neuvc Chapelle. He believed that all were killed. OFFICERS' DEATH ROLL AT NEUVE CHAPELLE. FIVE THOVSAHD GERMAN PRISONERS REACH ENGLAND. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 18. A further list of 119 officers' casualties at Neuvc Chapelle is published, including 54 dead. Five thousand German prisoners have arrived at Southampton in the last four days.
