(To the Editor.) Sir, —There has been a deal of talk lately regarding a reduction of rent of shops and offices in the city, but I think it is time that tenaits in he suburban areas took concerted action to bring about a general all-round reduction in house ren. I find that the purchasing power of a sovereign now, as compared to before the war started, is about 15/. This may seem an exaggeration to single men, but most married men with families will bear mc out in this statement.—l am, etc., TENANT.
