ODDFELLOWSHIP.
I. ' GRAND LODGE PROCEEDINGS. JUVENILE LODGES. At the sitting of the Grand Lodge of New Zealand Oddfellows yesterday afternoon it was unanimously decided to increase the sick benefits in juvenile lodges from 5/ to 6/ per week. A remit suggesting that assistance should be given to lodges paying more than £1 per annum for doctor and chemist benefits I was lost. Another remit widening the franch-ise in connection with district comniittiee6 wws afeo defeated. A proIposal that a travelling secretary should be appointed to aeßist secretatries of subordinate -lodges in their duties was I also negatived. It was decided not to reduce the contributions of honor-airy I members.
