VISIT TO OHINEWURL fßj- Telegraph. —Own Correspondent.) •PAEROA. Tuesday. The Hon. "VV. Traesr (Minister for Public Works), accompanied by lip. ilcAlister (private eecretarjr), Mr. Gavin (inspecting engineer), and Mr. Bigg•Witber . (district -engineer), arrived in Paeroa to-day. The Minuter was met by Mr. H. Poland (M-P. for the district), <Mr! H. M._Corbett (county chairman), '- Shortly after arrival the party was tafcar by motor to T-irohia to inspect the site of the proposed bridge which is to connect she district between Tahuna and the npper portion of the Hauraki Plains -with Pa«roa. ■ The proposed- bridge will connect a road 'whlcli has been partly formed, and which has been put down at a cost of £3000. and will therefore be the means of giving aececs to an immense area of laffld which has hitherto been without means of access. After inspecting the bridge site the Minister and party were entertained at Mr Wiggins* homestead at afternoon tea.
