.The following are the names of New Zcalanders vrho hare been killed on active service since the outbreak of the ■war. The list also contains the names of a number of men, who though actually not New Zealanders, have been intimately connected -with the Dominion:—

Gale. John, killed in action at Longido (German East Africa) on January 2S (Uaikoura). Garcia,- Lieutenant O. D. M, Ist Battalion Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry died of wounds received in the battle of the Akne (Christchurcli).

Gee, Second Lientenant R.. F. M., Wiltshire Begiment, wounded in France and died in Netley Hospital (Wellington). Dee. Surgeon - Lieutenant C. C, R-AvILC, died of wounds, Decemebr 24 (Gisborne).
