FEDERATION MANIFESTO.
IBy Telegraph.—Press Association.! WELLINGTON, this day. A manifesto by the executive of the United Federation of Labour was handed to a rejiorter to-day. It is addressed "To the workers of New Zealand." and concludes as follows: — "Labour stands united as ever; determined as never before. The spirit that 1 carried that torch o: liberty in humanity's darkest hours is not dead, but is awakened again in the hour of trial through New Zealand. The fight is on: let us close up our ranks and swear eternal fidelity iv the cause and in each other," all for each and eadh for all. To do that means solidarity, absolute and certain victor*;"."
