SANA'S CAPTAIN PICKED UP. DESERTED BY THE CREW. (Received 1.25 p.m.)
LOXDOX, November IS. The rteam tug Nana, lias been picked up in the Channel with the captain still aboard. He hlamrs the crew for abandoning him, and declares that the men were employed in clearing the steering gear. He only realised that he was alone when the boat was 200 yds astern. He sighted three steamers, but his signals were either not seen or were allowed to pass unheeded. He was without sleep for three nights, and had no water. He had only nine biscuits in the three da vs.
