WOMEN WIXL GET TEE VOTE. KEIK HARDIES OPINIOIi. , ("Sjdncy San -, Special {Service.) ZURICH, August 25. In an interview to-day, Mr Kcir Hardie (chairman of the Labour party in the House of Commons), declared that women would gain the vote after the next general electioji. The new House would adhere to the principles of women suffrage. The present House, ho said, was favourable, but Mr Asquith opposed any discussion on the matter. The speaker added that Mr Asquitb was not likely to continue as Premier. Sir Edward Grey would succeed him.
