H« gave his name as Pittsie Ryan, aged 28, born at Alberta. Edmonton, and, before he started on lii 3 long stroll he was a newsboy for 22 years. His armful of; •books, proved to be his collection 'ofj autographs, many of them being ac-1 compared by the weird seals public bodies and others use in America. Pittsie ie working his paeaage in the Makura, ■ and ekes out a living at other times by selling papers and postcards. He looks fit and well on it, and the life of a tourist evidently suits him.
